Lenovo owned Motorola has finally sent out invites for the launch of its Moto G5S Plus smartphone in India. The phone will be exclusively available on Amazon.in from August 29th. However, the phone was earlier introduced by the company on August 1st. The main USP of the device is its 13MP dual rear camera that will offer the plethora of features like replaced background mode, blurred background effect, and selective black and white coloring.
The handset packs a metal unibody design with smooth round edges. The Moto G5S Plus sports a 5.5 inches Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. Moreover, the phone will come in two RAM and ROM variants i:e 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box.
On the camera front, the Motorola Moto G5S Plus features a dual rear 13MP camera set up (Monochrome and RGB) which comes with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED Flash. On the front of the device, there is an 8MP sensor comes with F/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The phone has a nano-coating which made it an water repellent device. The Fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button on the front of the phone. The phone is fuelled by 3000mAh of Li-ion battery which supports Turbo Charging as well.
The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC. The device measured at 153.5×76.2x8mm and its weighs around 168g. The phone will come in two-color variants i:e Lunar Gray and Blush Gold and is expected to be launched with a price tag of INR 22,000.
