Xiaomi unveiled the global version of MIUI 10 alongside the launch of the Redmi Y2. Now, the Chinese manufacturer starts rolling out the beta version of MIUI 10 ROM on compatible handsets. These inlcude the likes of the Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Redmi S2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Redmi Note 5.
Owners of the above mentioned handsets running MIUI 9 global beta, can head over to their device’s Settings and manually check for the update. To manually check the update, just go to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check for updates. The version of the latest MIUI 10 beta ROM is 8.6.14. That said, owners who are currently running the stable ROM can’t install this version.
The new MIUI 10 beta ROM brings a slew of new features such as a new browser, App Vault, improved search, as well as progressive web apps.
Xiaomi announced the rollout on the official MIUI forum and the compnay is expected to start pushing stable builds starting September. Not to mention, the stable build will be rolling out on more devices than the ones mentioned above. For more details, head over to the source link below
