Tapping the potential of the low-budget tablet market in India, Micromax has successfully launched its budget tablets priced within Rs. 10,000 into the domestic market. And the latest Micromax budget tablet added to the list is the new Android Funbook Mini P410 tablet, is presently available on Flipkart for Rs. 8,820. However, if you are thinking of an immediate purchase, you shall have to wait for sometime as the device is ‘out of stock’ right now, but comes with a ‘notify me’ option.
The tablet boasts a 7-inch LCD display, with a resolution of 1020×600 pixels, and supports dual SIM (GSM+GSM). It derives its driving force from 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Although it comes with just 4GB internal memory, it has a microSD card for expanding storage capacity upto 32GB. The Micromax Funbook Mini P410 also features a 2-megapixel rear camera, along with 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Its 2800mAh battery is capable of providing 4 hours of browsing time. The tablet will be available in White.
It’s worthwhile to mention that Micromax has also recently introduced its first flagship tablet in the Canvas, the new Canvas Tab P650. The tab is currently available for Rs. 16,500 in the Indian market. It features an 8-inch IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The Canvas P650 Tab offers an inbuilt storage capacity of 16GB, expandable upto 32GB through microSD card. The tablet also flaunts a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera, as well as a 2-megapixel front facing camera. This flagship device runs on Android 4.2.1 that is upgradable via FOTA (firmware over the air).
