LYF Wind 3, Flame 8 with free Jio 4G services now available on Flipkart

Reliance Lyf brand has launched two new smartphones – Wind 3 and Flame 8 in the Indian market. Both the device are now available on e-commerce website Flipkart. It is not clear if the two devices will be accessible on the company’s offline retail outlets and other retailers.

Both the devices were in the inventory of Flipkart with a ‘Coming Soon’ tag yesterday. The LYF Flame 8 carry a price tag of Rs. 4,199 while the Wind 3 is available for Rs. 6,999. The Flame is available in White, Blue and Black colors while the Wind is available in Black color only.

Both the devices features a Complimentary Unlimited Access to Jio 4G Services for 90 days. Consumers can avail an extra 10% off which is being offered by HDFC Bank Credit Cards.

LYF Flame 8 Specs

Coming to specs, the LYF Flame 8 boasts a 4.5-inch display with FWVGA screen with 854×480 pixels. The device runs on the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor and is clocked at 1.1 GHz. It is complemented with an Adreno 304 GPU. The device has a RAM of 1GB and has an internal storage of 8GB. The internal storage can be augmented to 128 GB with a microSD card. The smartphone is based on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system platform. The device has a 2000mAh Li-ion battery as its power source and the manufacturer claims that it will provide 160 hours of standby time on 2G networks.

The device bears an 8 MP autofocus primary camera with a LED flash. The device boasts a 5MP secondary camera for video chatting. The device is Dual SIM compatible and has 4G LTE capabilities. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB port and GPS.

LYF Wind 3 Specs

The Wind 3 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels. The device runs on a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and is clocked at 1.2GHz. It is complemented by an Adreno 306 GPU. It boasts a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be augmented to 32GB with the provision of microSD card slot. The device is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. The power source is a 2920 mAh Li-Ion Polymer battery, and it offers a standby time of 370 hours on 2G network.

The company’s Twitter handle confirms that both the devices will be available on Flipkart.
