Logitech, a mass manufacturer of computer accessories especially keyboards and mouse, has launched a smart accessory called the Create keyboard case for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The Create keyboard is a smart accessory that will require no pairing. It connects with the iPad Pro with the help of a horizontal magnetic connector. There is no need to connect it to the Lightning port or using Bluetooth; users can just place the iPad on top of it and start using it.
Logitech Backlit Create Keyboard Features
The backlit keyboard has buttons to access the camera and headphones. It also comes with an Auto Awake and Auto Sleep mode that helps in conserving battery. The keys on the keyboard have a travel of 1.4mm, which gives the feel of a laptop keyboard. It also has special iOS specific keys such as volume shortcuts and language change.
Ashok Jangra, Logitech Cluster category head said, “CREATE is like the Swiss Army Knife of keyboard cases.” The keyboard is backlit and also has adjustable lighting levels.
Earlier Logitech had also for the first time introduced the smart connector for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. However, the problems such as lack of backlighting also act as cons.
The backlit keyboard is 23mm thick and weighs 426 grams. The keys on the keyboard are made of ABS plastic, and the folio is made of a synthetic weave. It is available for sale on the company’s official website at Rs. 9,995.
