Chinese smartphone maker Lephone has launched an entry level 4G VoLTE smartphone W7 in India at a price of INR 4599. The phone supports 22 regional languages namely- Sanskrit, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Bodo, Gujarati, Dogri, Kashmiri, Kannada, Konkani, Oriya, Malayalam, Maithil, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Sindhi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Santhali.
Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the W7 with a 5-inch display sports a 1GB RAM. The 8GB internal memory can be expanded up to 32GB via a micro-SD card.
The 5MP rear camera is helped by auto-focus and an LED flash. The front camera is 2MP.
The dual-SIM low-budget handset surprisingly runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Going in hand with the general flamboyance of Chinese smartphones, this one has amazing features such as ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and an accelerometer.
