Honor has been long rumoured to annnouce a bunch of mid-range smartphones. Key sources indicate these handsets will be called the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro. A leaked schematic of the Honor 9X was earlier spotted which suggests it’ll come with a pop-up selfie camera. Now, ahead of their official launch, full specs of both smartphones were allegedly spotted on Twitter.
The leak suggests that both the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro will feature the same 6.59-inch display with a rsiltuoion of 1080×2340 pixels and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. Both devices are also expected to get powered by the same Kirin 810 chipset.
In the photography department, the Honor 9X Pro is expected to pack triple lens cameras with a 48MP primary sensor. It’ll be accompanied by an 8MP secondary sensor along with a 2MP sensor. The Honor 9X is also said to feature a triple lens camera setup, though with a 24MP pimray sensor, paired with an 8MP secpndray sensor and another 2MP sensor.
For selfies, both the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro are said to come with a 20MP front-facing shooter.
Elsewhere, the leak suggests that both handsets would pack a 4000mAH battery. That said, the leak indicates that the Honor 9X Pro will get 22.5W fast charging support, while the Honor 9X is claimed to get 10W fast charging support. Meanwhile, both handsets are expected to run Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Honor has already confirmed its plans to launch the Hon or 9X at an event in China on July 23. The company is likely to unveil the Honor 9X Pro as well at the same event.
