Designer Imran Taylor has created his very-own iPhone 8 concept, based on all the latest information about Apple’s next flagship available on the web so far. And to his credit, his interpretation of the iPhone 8 could give Apple’s in-house designers a run for the money.
Let’s start with the front, which looks rather stunning thanks to a combination of metal and glass. A recent report from Nikkie did mention that Apple is working on a 5-inch iPhone which will likely sport an all-glass design.
Besides, the Taylor’s concept iPhone 8 flaunts a stainless frame, something similar found on the good old iPhone 4. The metal frame houses the Lightning port, volume and power buttons, along with dual speakers.
On the back, we also see a Smart Connector, a feature currently found on the iPad Pro though is expected to come on the upcoming iPhone 8 for added connectivity options.
Besides, we also see vertical-dual cameras on the back. Past leaks do suggest that the next iPhone 8 will feature a similar dual-camera setup found on the latest iPhone 7 Plus. However, this time around, dual cameras are placed vertically on the phone’s back rather than horizontally as found on the iPhone 7 Plus.
Taylor also shows his concept iPhone 8 in typical Apple colors which include, Gold, White, as well as Rose Gold. We also see an almost bezel-free display, which is again, rumored in the next iPhone. Taylor’s interpretation of the iPhone 8 brings the classic iPhone 4 design, with glass on the front and back made out of a new liquid metal frame. Multiple reports now suggest that the next iPhone could be very different from whatever we’ve seen so far. The Wall Street Journal earlier reported that the iPhone 8 is expected to pack an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) edgeless display. The report further notes that the home button/ fingerprint sensor will not exist as a physical portion of the new phone’s design. Instead, it’ll be integrated into the display itself.
