Audio Technica has brought its latest ATH-ANC40BT wireless headset in India. The in-ear Bluetooth headphones come with a patented noise-cancellation technology for ultimate outdoor usability. It has the capability to reduce up to 90 percent of the ambient background noise. The brand new headphones sport inbuilt microphones with in-line controls. This enables you to receive wirelessly and end calls, pause or start music playback and adjust the volume levels. The ATH-ANC40BT comes with a large 13.5 mm audio drivers for distortion-free sounds. The headphones are now available for purchase at Rs. 14,990.
The latest headphones come with an innovative technology which lets it remain connected with two Bluetooth devices at the same time and seamlessly switch between each of them. Audio Technica has employed an advanced sound enhancement technology called aptX for optimum Bluetooth transmission.
The ATH-ANC40BT is specially made for outdoor usage and works extremely well in places with high ambient noise. There is a futuristic noise cancellation mechanism consisting of a miniature microphone and a noise erasing motor called the QuietPoint. This works by capturing every bit of ambient noise at first with the mic. Then, the QuietPoint generates negative sound waves to cancel out the outside noises accurately. The Japanese manufacturer has equipped the ATH-ANC40BT with top notch ergonomics. It sports a comfortable neckband that goes around the back of your head and perfectly settles in both the ears. The headphone also comes with an additional 3.5 mm connector which can be attached if necessary.
An internal rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer battery serves juice to the headset. Audio technical claims a battery life of 8 hours if the headphone used for both listening to music via Bluetooth and canceling outdoor noises. If you use it solely for Bluetooth audio streaming, you will be able to extract about 13 hours of battery life. The ATH-ANC40BT is even capable of functioning solely as an outdoor noise canceling device, and if you use it only for this, it’s battery will last for 24 hours. The headset requires 3 hours to get fully charged.
