Asus has announced its Zenfone Go 5.5-inch in India at INR 8,499. The smartphone is available exclusively on Amazon. The Zenfone Go was launched last year.
The 5.5-inch HD display is backed by a 13MP camera with dual-LED real tone flash at the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter. The 5.5-inch Asus ZenFone Go is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and it has 2GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 16GB of ROM that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Connectivity options include: dual SIM, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3g/4G and USB OTG.
TThe smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. According to the company the Go 5.5 provides the perfect audio experience. As is the reputation of Asus smartphones, one can definitely vouch for that. The device has a built-in mono speaker along with a mic wth noise cancellation technology.

Prior to this launch, Asus had launched the Zenfone 3 Zoom in the US, earlier this year and word is that i is going to be the company’s next phone in India.
The Taiwanese company has done well in India in the recent past. However their high-end phones have pproven to be the Achiles’ heel in a market like India. About time that the company realised that most of the consumers in the country look for smartphones that fit their wallets and not their coat pockets. The Zenfone Go could well be a start in the right direction for the Taiwanese maker.
