Asus has launched Asus ROG G752S and Asus ROG Strix GL502VS laptops powered by Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card starting at Rs. 181990. According to company sources, the new laptops pack insufficient hardware to provide a rich experience to gamers.
Asus ROG G752S features a sixth generation Intel Skylake processor, Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card and up to 64GB RAM. Moreover, the new G752 laptop offers an unlocked and overclockable processor to enhance the gaming experience.
Asus ROG G752S make use of GTX 1070 to offer desktop performance
During the launch event, Asus revealed that the laptop will make use of the 1070 and not the 1070m graphics processor. Hence, you can expect desktop class performs in a portable laptop. Even though the G752 notebook doesn’t beat the desktop-class 1070, you can expect something equivalent to it.
Asus has provided the capability to boost speeds up to 4GHz. Furthermore, the G752S ships with a 120Hx display including a 30-KRO keyboard.
Asus ROG Strix GL502VS
Asus ROG Strix GL502VS is the second laptop released by the company. The laptop is designed in such a way that you can easily carry it in your backpack because of the slimness.
With a weight of 2.3kgs, the Asus ROG Strix GL502VS is powered by a NVidia GTX 1070 graphics processor alongside a 15-inch display with up to 32GB RAM. However, the company hasn’t revealed the processor variant. You can expect low power consumption and hence we expect Asus to ship the laptop with a 7th generation Intel i7 processor.
Asus ROG G752S and Asus ROG Strix GL502VS: Availability and Price
The new Asus ROG G752S and Asus ROG Strix GL502VS will be available in both online and offline channels. The Asus ROG Strix GL502VS laptop is priced at Rs. 247,990.
According to industry analysts, Nvidia’s 10xx series of graphics cards provides a capability to deliver a significant bump in performance when compared with the previous counterparts. The new graphics processors are not only powerful but also energy efficient. It also ships with modules which are very much required to enhance VR performance to a great extent.
