As Apple iPhone 7 Plus rumours have started heating up on the Internet already, a new report from Chinese media site MyDrivers is stating that Apple has plans on doubling the storage and battery capacity in its upcoming iPhone.
It suggests that iPhone 7 Plus will have an option for 256GB storage, which will also be exclusive to it.
There is a message from ‘Supply Chain’ which states that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be launched this year, with the same screen size i.e. 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, but an upgraded configuration. The most important thing is that the 256GB storage capacity is exclusive to iPhone 7 Plus.
Apple also has plans on increasing the battery capacity of iPhone 7 Plus by 13 percent to 3100mAh, which is more than the existing 2750mAh battery in its predecessors.
If rumours are to be believed, this is going to be a valuable addition alongside expanded internal storage capacity that adds up to the exclusive features of the device.
Currently, the plus-tagged iPhones are offering a higher screen resolution, OIS and larger battery as a USP over the regular ones. However, if features mentioned in the report come true, it will be interesting to see the reaction of fans.
After all, there will be plenty of fans who might prefer switching from iPhone 6S to iPhone 7 Plus due to its amazing internal storage capacity and enhanced battery life.
