Alcatel has launched their new smartphone with a major focus on mobile photography named Alcatel Flash 2 in India. Priced at Rs. 9,299, the smartphone will be available in exclusively at Flipkart.
“Today we are launching the Flash 2 in association with Flipkart at Rs. 9,299/-. The product will be available after a week from today on Flipkart,” said Regional Director, Alcatel APAC BU India – Mr. Praveen Valecha.

The Alcatel Flash 2 boasts a 5-inch HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 294 PPI. Powered by a 64-bit 8 Core 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and a Mali-T720 MP4 GPU, the handset offers 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB.
The Flash 2 smartphone sports a 13MP gSight rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and Realtone flash. On the front, there’s a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. The primary camera is capable of recording FullHD 1080p video at 30fps.
Alcatel Flash 2 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. The device is fueled by a non-removable 3,000 mAh lithium-ion battery, which company touts to deliver 25 hours of Talktime on 2G and standby time up to 25 days.
Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM Alcatel Flash 2 comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack.
Availability and Price of Alcatel Flash 2:
Priced at Rs. 9,299, the Alcatel Flash 2 smartphone will be available in two different color options i.e. Volcanic Black and Mica White exclusively on Flipkart. The registration for the smartphone is now open and the handset will go on sale on October 27.
