The Vivo Apex is reportedly slated for an official announcement on June 12 at an event in China. The handset was initially showcased during MWC 2018 and happened to pique interest of several industry watchers thanks to its borderless display and in-screen fingerprint sensor. Now, a high-res retail render of the handset has leaked out thanks to credible tipster Ben Geskin (@VenyaGeskin1).
The leaked image reveals front of the handset, showcasing its all-screen display near bezel-free design. We can clearly see slimmer bezel profile on the top and bottom of the screen. Hence, the in-screen fingerprint scanner will likely utilize the screen real estate at the bottom of the display, giving users more freedom to place their finger on the bottom of the screen. Not the mention, the leaked image also shows the handset’s selfie cam which reportedly only comes out when activated.
