Motorola has christened its flagship Moto X Pure Edition, and will make it available for purchase on September 3 onwards. The device is also known as Moto X Style outside the US. Motorola has made the announcement on Twitter but retracted later. The company has posted the same date on its Google+ account and later removed it.
The Moto X Style features a 5.7-inch QuadHD display with a 515 PPI pixel density. The phone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC along with a 1.8GHz hexa-core processor under its boot. It also features Adreno 418 GPU for graphics and 3GB of RAM.
The device runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop platform besides special apps like Moto Display, Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Actions and so on.
Moto X Style will be available in three different storage options i.e. 16/32/64 GB. The storage options can be augmented to 128GB with the option of microSD card.

Moto X Style sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detect Auto-Focus (PDAF), closed loop processing, Quick Launch Instant On, and 4X digital zoom. And on the front, it sports a 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera, which will be accompanied by a flash.
The camera also boasts of shooting 4K videos, and it will be powered by a 3,000 mAh and has turbocharging options.
Users can customize their phones as per their preferences since the Moto X Style features the Motto Maker Program. Users can choose either leather or natural wood covers.
The Moto-X Pure Edition price tag starts at $399 fully unlocked and will be compatible with all major U.S. carriers which include Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T.
Users can order the handsets directly through Amazon, Motorola’s website, and Best Buy. Motorola has ensured it keeps the overhead expenses low by adopting a direct-to-consumer approach for the Moto X Pure Edition.
