Indian mobile phone manufacturer Lava has launched its selfie-focused budget smartphone – Iris Selfie 50 at Rs 7,999. The smartphone comes with a 5 MP front camera with autofocus and a built-in LED flash for selfie lovers and 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and support for HD recording.
The phone has a five-inch (854X480p) IPS fully laminated LCM display to allow super wide viewing angles. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. It comes with 8GB internal storage and storage can be expanded upto 32 GB using microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat Operating System and is fueled by 2400 mAh li polymer battery. Connectivity options on the device include: 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.

The Lava Iris Selfie 50 will be made available in white, black and purple color options. The smartphone is not listed on e-commerce websites yet and is expected to be available widely soon.
