Xiaomi is about to launch the successor of its Mi5, the Mi6, and surely there has been some word about its specs and features ahead of the launch. Word around the industry is that it will start selling at 2,199 Yuan. In addition it is also said that the Mi6 Plus will be unveiled around the same time at 2,699 Yuan.
Several rumours and leaks suggest that the smartphone will sport a 5.1-inch Full-HD display, and will run on Android Nougat. The Mi6 Plus could have a Quad HD 2K OLED display.
As far as the camera is concerned, it is tipped to have a dual 12MP rear camera with a 4K video recording capability. The front camera will be clocked at 8MP.
The battery could be as big as 4,000 mAh and will be backed by Quick Charge 4.0 technology.
The smartphone will house the latest power-packed Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. All this will be smoothly supported by 4GB of Ram, and the internal storage will be 64/128GB. The Mi6 Plus will have a 6GB RAM.

There has been some word about the released date of the smartphone. It could be released opn the 19th of April, 2017. However, nothing has been made official, yet. Chinese smartphone companies are usually keen about launching their products in India, considering the market. Given that Xiaomi has been a huge hit in the country right from the word ‘go’, it will be no surprise if the Mi6 is launched here very soon after in China. It will be exciting to see what the Chinese maker has up its sleeve this time around.
