Xiaomi Mi 4i on sale next week without registration on Flipkart

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi is all set to bring its Mi 4i smartphone for its customers through an open sale on Flipkart.

The smartphone which recently gained popularity for its good specs and cheaper price will now be available for purchase without any registrations on May 25 and May 26.

Till now, the smartphone was being sold through the company’s much successful flash sales models.

To add more into this, the company has so far held 4 flash sales for the Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone which have all turned out to be successful.

However, there has been no information about the number of units being available for the open sale.

Surprisingly, the open sale by Xiaomi clashes with the open sale of Lenovo A6000 Plus on the same dates which clearly shows that the customers and the two companies might have a tough time around.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 4i features a unibody polycarbonate build, and has a soft touch matte finish with an anti-grease coating.

The Chinese company claimed that the Mi 4i featuring dual-SIM dual standby support is 12 percent thinner than the Mi 4 and is also 13 percent lighter, at 7.8mm and 130 grams respectively.

Both SIM card slots support 4G LTE connectivity, and the phone is compatible with LTE bands in India.

It sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) fully laminated OGS Corning Concore IPS display.

The Mi 4i’s display has a pixel density of 441ppi, and a Sunlight Display feature that optimises the display for visibility under bright light.

The smartphone runs MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and supports 6 Indian languages – Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil.
