Vodafone India rolls out 4G-ready SIMs in Delhi-NCR ahead of official launch

Vodafone India has started introducing 4G ready SIM cards in Delhi and NCR circle ahead of its official launch. These services would be started on 1800MHz band that Vodafone won in March 2015 spectrum auction. As part of the exchange process, existing customers are being offered free SIM cards along with 1GB of free 4G internet data.

If you wish to avail these services, enter a nearby Vodafone Store and get a 4G ready SIM free of cost with their exchange process. Once you get the SIM, the existing internet plan would automatically be upgraded to 4G soon after the commercial launch of the services. All you need is a 4G enabled handset to enjoy these services.

Vodafone India’s Business Head – Delhi & NCR, Apoorva Mehrotra talked about the company introducing 4G SIM cards in exchange for existing ones.

He added how Vodafone wants to make the 4G transition seamless and smooth for their 10 million customers in that circle. They want the customers to be already set with 4G SIMs so that even they can avail the benefits of high-speed internet as soon as the commercial launch is made in that region.

Earlier 4G services were launched by Vodafone in Kochi and Mysore on 1800 MHz band, which is more efficient as compared to 2300 MHz band. The company wants to make sure the customers enjoy extremely high speeds and superior connectivity through this band and has taken necessary measures for ensuring the same.
