Vivo Z1 Pro with Punch-hole camera launched for Rs 14,990: Specs, Price and Availability

After teasing the phone for a while, the Chinese giant Vivo has now finally unveiled the Vivo Z1 Pro in India. And while we expected the device to be priced around Rs. 20,000, Vivo has surprised us by launching it right below Rs. 15,000 in India.

For the price, the Vivo Z1 Pro packs a punch-hole camera, Snapdragon 712 SoC, triple rear cameras and a 32MP selfie camera. There’s also a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Let’s now talk about full specifications, pricing, and availability of the device.

Vivo Z1 Pro Specifications, Features

The Vivo Z1 Pro comes with a 6.53-inch IPS display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As evident, the phone comes with an all-screen front with a punch-hole camera on the top left corner.

Under the hood, the device gets powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC paired with Adreno 616 GPU. It’ll be available in 4/64GB, 6/64GB, and 6/128GB RAM (LPPDDR4x) and storage (UFS 2.1) configurations. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD.

For photography, the Vivo Z1 Pro gets a triple camera setup at the rear. The module comprises of a 16MP primary camera with f/1.78 aperture and an 8MP wide-angle camera with 120° field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture. There’s also a 2MP tertiary unit for depth sensing. For selfies, the phone bears a 32MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture housed in the punch hole.

On the software front, Vivo Z1 Pro runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie. It also includes nifty software features including Center Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and ART++ Turbo to speed up the performance. Whereas, the Game Mode 5.0 allows for an immersive gaming experience with 3D surround sound and 4D vibrations.

All of this is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Lastly, the connectivity options onboard include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, micro USB 2.0 with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing, Availability

The Vivo Z1 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 14,990 for the base model with 4/64GB configuration. The 6/64GB and 6/128GB models, on the other hand, will retail for Rs. 16,990 and Rs. 17,990, respectively.

That said, the handset will be available in Mirror Black, Sonic Black, and Sonic Blue colour options via Flipkart and Vivo India’s online store starting from July 11. Launch offers include Rs. 750 instant discount on ICICI Bank debit/ credit cards, followed by cashbacks on Jio.
