Vivo Y81 4GB RAM variant launched in India alongside festive season offers

Vivo Y81 with 4GB RAM has been officially launched in India. Priced at INR 13,490, the handset will be available for purchase via Vivo India e-store, Paytm Mall, as well as physical retail stores across the country.

In terms of specifications, the Vivo Y81 sports a 6.22-inch HD+ display having an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6762 processor bundled with 4GB RAM and IMG GE8320 graphics. The handset comes with 32GB of built-in storage which is further expandable upto 256GB via microSD slot.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y81 features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, HDR, portrait mode, bokeh mode, AI face beauty, and more. For selfies, the handset gets a 5MP front-facing shooter with features such as HDR, face beauty, group selfie, portrait mode, bokeh mode, and more.

The handset runs Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.0 and packs a 3,260mAh battery. Connectivity features on the Vivo Y81 include dual-SIM (Nano) slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm jack.

Apart from announcing the new Vivo Y81 variant, the company has also introduced festive season offers for select Y-series handsets up to November 15. These include Vivo Y71i, Vivo Y83Pro, and Vivo Y81.

HDFC Bank debit and credit card customers can avail a 5 percent cashback, while customers who buy the device via Paytm will get a cashback coupon worth INR 1,000. Jio subscribers can also get benefits of up to INR 4,050. Customers can avail Jio vouchers worth IR 1,950 along with Jio Platinum Device Security access for device theft and malware protection. Finally, the company is also offering no-cost EMI options starting INR 916.
