The domestic cab players, Uber and Ola, has announced their collaboration with Airport Authority of India (AAI) to provide easy access to the cab for the traveler through a smartphone application. Now passenger can easily book Uber cabs at five airports. Lucknow, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, and Pune.
Under this Alliance, Uber and Ola will set up the booking zones at the airport for those who do not have access to the app. Moreover, there will be a dedicated pickup zone with on-ground assistance and clear signages to guide riders to their cab for pick up. Uber and Ola will also instruct travelers to get to the designated point of the Uber driver to make the travel hassle free and seamless.
Commenting on the alliance with AAI, David Richter, Global Head of Business and Corporate Development, Uber said:

With a first of its kind partnership in India with mass air transit infrastructure, we expect to cater to visitors from over 70 countries that use Uber in India.
Furthermore, now travelers can easily book Uber and Ola cab from designated kiosks, which will be available on the international and domestic terminals. AAI will provide the dedicated parking spaces for the cabs to make Estimated time of arrival shorter for the travelers.
