Swipe Technologies has launched another luxurious smartphone along with market competitive specs, Swipe Virtue in the market with a price tag of Rs. 5,999. The handset boasts metal frame design and is available to buy exclusively via Snapdeal.
Announcing the launch of Swipe Virtue, Shripal Gandhi, Founder and CEO, Swipe Technologies told the media that product innovation and technology are the key strengths of the company. Equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 320 dpi, Swipe Virtue is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM. The handset offers 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card).
The Swipe Virtue sports an 8-megapixel primary camera with support for autofocus and LED flash in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Powered by a 2,500mAh Li-ion battery, which is claimed to offer 8 hours of talk time, the dual-SIM Swipe Virtue includes all major connectivity options like 3G, standard Wi-Fi, USB OTG, FM, GPS/ A-GPS and Bluetooth. Moreover, the battery is equipped with Power Saving technology.
To recall, Swipe had launched a junior smartphone for kids with the same price tag in November 2015. The phone offered a customised UI for kids with features like geo-tracking and geo-fencing to track a child’s movement.
With the help of Swipe Junior, parents can configure safe and danger zones in addition to the ability to monitor the app usage pattern of the child. The phone also includes SOS button, which enables the kid to alert the contact in case of any emergency.
