Sony Cyber-shot HX350 goes official in Europe for €449

Cyber-shot HX350

Japanese giant Sony launches the new Cyber-shot HX350 super zoom camera, though for now its only available in European markets. The camera takes several design cues from DSLRs, such as the design, lens, handling, grip, along with manual controls.

And just like its predecessor the HX300, this one also offers a 50x zoom lens along with a 20.4MP Exmor R CMOS sensor. Barring a few upgrades such as an upgraded BIONZ X processor and lock-on AF, not much has changed.

It packs the same 24-1200mm equiv. F2.8-6.3 Carl ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* lens. Other key feature include a built-in EVF, optical image stabilization, 3.0-inch tilting 921k dot LCD, Full HD/HD video recording, along with 10fps burst shooting, and HDMI out. Besides, It allows you add up to 13 different creative effects to stills, movies and panoramas without the need to download and negates the need to use any image-editing software.
