Realme X may launch with Snapdragon 730 in India for Rs. 18,000

Realme X

Soon after the China launch, Realme India CEO Madhav Seth announced that the Realme X would launch in India soon. However, he didn’t reveal the exact launch of the device. Now, Madhav has come forward with some details regarding the Indian model of Realme X.

On his twitter handle, Madhav revealed that Realme X will bear slightly different specifications in India compared to the Chinese model of the device. Going by the fact that Xiaomi has announced a phone with Snapdragon 730 SoC, the Realme X too might feature the same chipset.

Looking at the way Madhav boasted it, it is evident that the phone will come with a relatively better processor than Snapdragon 710. Note that the company doesn’t seem to be going with the 8xx-series chips as of now, that too for such a low price bracket. Therefore, the Realme X is most likely to arrive with the newly released Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G processors in the country.

Moving further, Madhav has revealed that the X will be priced around Rs. 18,000 in India which seems quite interesting. He said that besides the Onion and Garlic versions “one more special variant” will hit the Indian market.
