Scheduled for Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event is packed with features to excite both new and veteran players.
At the heart of the event, Bagon will appear more frequently in the wild, with an increased chance of encountering its Shiny variant. This offers a fantastic opportunity for Trainers to add this powerful Pokémon and its evolved form, Salamence, to their collections. Speaking of Salamence, evolving Bagon’s first evolution, Shelgon, during the event or up to two hours afterward will result in a Salamence that knows the charged attack Outrage, a move with 110 power in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.
The event is not just about catching Bagon; it’s also an excellent chance for players to rack up experience points, with triple XP for catching Pokémon. Moreover, Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours, maximizing the potential for Pokémon encounters.
For those interested in diving deeper, a Bagon Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story is available for $1.00 or the equivalent local currency.
