Pioneer India, the leading manufacturer of car entertainment systems, unveiled a new range of touchscreen AV players including a touchscreen head unit AVH-X5890BT with a price tag of Rs.29,990 on Tuesday.
Equipped with a 17.8 wide touchscreen display, USB port, AUX input, LED backlight display, Siri voice control, built-in Bluetooth, and compatibility with smartphone apps, the player comes with a 2-year warranty.
The manager of marketing and product planning, Gaurav Kulshrestha stated that the company consistently focuses on smartphone connectivity. The new unit will be perfect for traveling and would make the drive convenient and enjoyable connecting mobile devices.
The latest unit features Pioneer’s App Radio technology that has compatibility with Android as well as iPhone devices. With this mode, one can view and control music and navigation apps directly from the touchscreen of the player. It is supportive of FLAC files as well as Advanced Sound Retriever technology that brings about an improvement in the quality of MP3 files.
It also features a Time Alignment Mechanism, which gives an estimate of sound coming from each speaker, position of the driver as well as adjusts the output timing of the speaker.
Other products that Pioneer India Electronics launched includes AVH-X1890DVD (Rs.17,990), AVH-289BT (Rs.18,990), AVH-189DVD (Rs.14,990) and AVH-X2890BT (Rs.22,990). It also features a Todoroki Equalizer and a 13 Band equalizer that is designed especially keeping in mind Indian music.
