Chinese manufacturer OnePlus might announce its next smartphone on November 15. Rumors suggest the company is expected to unveil a device called 3T, which is expected to be an upgraded version of the earlier launched flagship – the One Plus 3.
The Chinese handset maker tweeted that a ‘Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor is coming your way’, hence an upgraded spec sheet is likely on the cards. The tweet includes a teaser video which shows that ‘T-7 coming on November 15’, which by all means suggests the possibility of a new smartphone launch.

Besides, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei also suggests the upcoming OnePlus 3T to get AMOLED displays, despite recent reports that the company is facing issues sourcing AMOLED panels and possibly planning to switch over to LCD. Other than that, the Chinese smartphone maker hasn’t revealed anything, though we’ll get to know what exactly the company has in store on November 15.
OnePlus 3T Specs
Besides the upgraded Snapdragon 821 processor, the upcoming OnePlus 3T is expected to get 8GB of RAM, a 3000mAh or a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging, updated OxygenOS wrapped over Android 7.0 Nougat. Rumors also suggest the phone to pack a 16MP primary camera with a Sony IMX398 sensor.
As far as pricing is concerned, the upcoming OnePlus 3T could get a higher price tag than the OnePlus 3, which is currently priced at $399. In addition, we can also expect the forthcoming device to come unlocked in the U.S and other international markets.
To recall, the OnePlus 3 launched back in June features a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED Full HD resolution. Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor bundled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Optics on the smartphone 16MP and 8MP rear and front cameras respectively while juicing up the device is a 3000mAh battery with Dash Charge technology.
