The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia has now launched the Nubia Red Magic 3 smartphone in China. Being a budget gaming smartphone, the Red Magic 3 brings nifty features like a 90Hz screen, a Snapdragon 855 processor, a 5000mAh battery and an active cooling system.
Nubia Red Magix 3 Specs, Features
Notably, Red Magic 3 turns out to be the best smartphone in its price segment. The phone has a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, offering smooth visuals besides support for HDR.
Under the hood, the Red Magic 3 is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. The handset comes in 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM options clubbed with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
Being a gaming phone, the Red Magic 3 also features an active cooling system, which dramatically improves thermal performance, claims Nubia. Nubia Red Magic 3 incorporates a state-of-the-art liquid cooling technology with an internal turbofan. This solution not only improves thermal design but also boasts performance for a smoother, more comfortable gaming experience. Indeed, it is comparatively different than other gaming smartphones in the market with passive cooling systems.
Other notable highlights of the device include RGB lighting, dual front-facing stereo speakers, DTS:X, and 3D sound. There’s also a feature dubbed as Red Magic Game Space 2.0 that allows to launch games quickly, fine-tune performance settings and fan speeds. It can also monitor temperature and usage stats in real time, and record in-game videos. The Magic 3 is also equipped with touch-sensitive shoulder triggers that provide additional hardware buttons without the need for a gamepad accessory.
As far as the photography is concerned, Red Magic 3 gets a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor at the rear, accompanied by a 16MP shooter in the front. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging support.
