Moto c and C Plus to be launched in India in July at INR 8,000: leaked images

Lenovo is gearing up to launch the Moto C and the Moto C Plus in India. There has been no official word about it but an India Today report said that the devices will be launched in India in June.

The report also said that there is no final date, but the it will be up against the likes of Redmi 4A, considering its price. This means that it will likely be priced under INR 8,000.

A previous leak from Evan Blass on Twitter gave us a hazy picture of the Moto C and C Plus. Now the word around is that it will hit the market soon this year.

Besides a few leaks and rumours, not much is known about the oto C and Moto C Plus.

Some time ago Android Authority had published a 360-degree video featuring the Moto C and Moto C Plus, suggesting that two phones would look similar in design with just a few changes. It appears that the Plus variant has a rear camera bump, similar to that of Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus.

The video showed the phone from different angles and suggested that there could be a rear-mounted speaker grill and a headphone jack. The micro-USB port is placed at the top. The power and volume rocker buttons are traditionally positioned at the right edge, and the company logo has been seen below the rear camera in the leaked pictures.

The Moto C could run on Android Nougat. If that is the case, it will have a clear edge over its competitors. A stock version of Android has not been seen in a smartphone for some time now. If this is the case, it could not only be a boon for the users but also for the company.

Moto is known for providing quality budget phones. Considering that the c and C Plus will be priced around INR 8,000, it is hard to imagine the company’s plans failing.
