The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Premia Special Edition has been launched with a price tag of Rs. 8.99 lakhs in India. This edition has been placed under the S-Cross Delta trim and features a 1.3-liter diesel engine along with several other accessories. The price of S-Cross DDiS 200 Delta variant is 9.15 lakhs and features steel wheels, manual AC unit, a remote and a basic audio system along with CD player.
Talking about the exterior, Prima edition has alloy wheels as well as fog lamps that are mounted on the bumper. Coming to the interior, there are reverse parking sensors along with a camera and a 5-inch screen Garmin device for navigation.
Various safety features are included in it such as a remote-controlled central locking system, 2 airbags and an ABS with EBD. The height of the driver seat can be adjusted and apart from that, telescopic and tilt adjustments can be made to the steering. This car features a 2-DIN infotainment system along with audio streaming and Bluetooth.
Premia has a DDiS200 1.3 liter 4-Cylinder diesel engine that is capable of developing 200Nm of torque @ 1750rpm and 89bhp of power @4000rpm. It also features a 5-speed manual transmission. ARAI has certified that the fuel economy of the car is 23.65kmpl.
The S-Cross Premia Special Edition is sold through the Nexa dealership network of Maruti. Since the car hasn’t got a good response, discounts are being offered for boosting sales.
With Premia, Maruti has hopes for attracting more customers. This Crossover SUV competes with Nissan Terrano, Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and Hyundai i20 Active.
