LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has announced the launch of LG X Cam smartphone with a dual-camera in Titan Silver at Rs. 19,900. The main attraction of LG X Cam is the addition of a 13MP standard angle lens and a 5MP wide-angle camera sensor on the rear of the device. According to company sources, the camera has all the required properties to deliver as “wide a field of view” as the human eye. Moreover, the device captures 53-percent additional surface area than the conventional cameras on other competing smartphones. Priced at an affordable Rs. 19,900, the LG X Cam is designed to deliver improved performance with the latest Android platform. The X Cam provides exceptional value to those users who would like to work with a dual-camera smartphone at an affordable price. Similar to that of the LG G5, the X cam is equipped with a 120-degree wide-angle lens to support the standard lens.
Commenting on the launch of LG X Cam, Amit Gujral, Marketing Head – Mobiles, LG India disclosed that the company is offering a dual camera smartphone at a budget price point. The company is confident that the device will be able to catch the attention of consumers by offering features such as wide angle feature, which is rare in the smartphone segment. This feature has been inherited from LG G5.
LG X Cam Camera Features
Talking about the other camera-specific features, the LG X Cam provides Pop-out Picture feature. This combines the two separate images captured with the standard and wide angle lenses to create a picture-in-a-frame effect.
Gujral revealed that the integration of a wide angle photography not only enhance the user experience but also provides consumers with something unique.
LG X Cam Comes with Ability to Sign images
Moreover, the built-in Panorama view automatically scrolls a wide image instead of a static image. The unique Signature effect enables users to add a caption or small bio after capturing an image. This feature will be useful if the user would like to share the image across social media to avoid unauthorized use.
