LG, another South Korean electronics manufacturer, has introduced a mid-range 3G Smartphone, LG Max in India. LG Max carries a price tag of Rs. 10,990. However, it has not been listed with any online retail portal or local retail outlets. The device is available in Gold, Titan and White color variants. It is available in single and dual-SIM versions.
LG Max is the successor to LG Bello, which was launched last year and will be having a bigger display, a more powerful camera and will run on the latest version of the Android OS.
Amit Gujral, Marketing Head of LG Mobiles India said that since 4G is still in its gestation stage and most people who use internet use 3G services, LG Max will endear itself to users. LG Max offers great value to 3G consumers and will be more successful than its predecessor.
The handset will be running on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It features under its hood a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1GB RAM. The device affords storage space of 8GB which can be augmented to 32 GB with the help of microSD card.
LG Max boasts a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 X 480 pixels. The device boasts a 5mp front camera and an 8mp rear camera with LED flash. The camera features the Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash features. And a 2,540mAh battery completes the package.
Other features include 3G compatibility. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack and Micro-USB 2.0.
