Lenovo has added a new member to its Vibe series with the launch of the world’s first dual selfie camera smartphone, Lenovo Vibe S1, at an event held in New Delhi today. The highlights of the smartphone are its dual front cameras. Priced at Rs. 15,999, the consumers can buy the handset exclusively at Amazon.in.
The smartphone was first unveiled during the IFA 2015 in September, alongside with Lenovo Vibe P1 and Lenovo Vibe P1m.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 sports a 13MP rear camera with Auto-focus and dual-color flash. It sports a dual 8MP and 2MP front-facing cameras. The company at the time of launch said, “The 8MP primary front camera takes the sharpest photos and a 2MP secondary front camera analyses depth of field information.”
Equipped with a 5.0-inch Full HD IPS display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a Curved Gorilla Glass on the top, the handset is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-core MT6752 64-bit processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a 700Hz ARM Mali – T760 MP2 GPU.
The Vibe S1 offers 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out-of-the-box.
Connectivity-wise, the dual-SIM Vibe S1 comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm headset jack.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 comes with a 2,420 mAh non-removal Li-polymer battery, which company touts to deliver 10 days of Standby time on 4G and up to 12 hours of 4G Talk time. The handset is available in two different color options i.e. Pearl White and Midnight Blue.
