Lenovo, the Chinese multinational technology firm has launched IdeaPad Flex 2 notebook with touchscreen in the Indian market at Rs 42,250. The notebook, company claims eliminates completely the need of a tablet as it supports the dual functionality mode.
When IdeaPad is not being used in the laptop mode, you can bend it and turn the AccuType keyboard into a stand for placing it upright on a flat surface. As expected, the machine runs on latest version of Windows – Windows 8 (easily upgradable to Windows 8.1) and has a display that can flip 300-degrees.
The new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 2 has a 14-inch display with 1366x768p. It packs a fourth-generation Intel Core i3 processor (up to i7) with 4GB RAM and optional 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 740M graphics card.
Connectivity options for the IDeaPad notebook include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, one each of USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI ports, card reader and RJ45 Ethernet port. The device has a 720p front camera and a 48Wh battery that can play full HD videos for six hours.
Moreover, the notebook comes with a couple of impressive features like an integrated stereo speakers which is Dolby Advanced Audio certified and OneKey Recovery, Lenovo Cloud Storage and Lenovo Voice Control.
