Lenovo unveils A2010 India’s cheapest 4G LTE smartphone at Rs 4,990

Lenovo has extended its A series smartphone line-up by launching India’s first and cheapest Dual SIM 4G LTE smartphone named Lenovo A2010. Priced at Rs. 4,990, the handset will be available in two color variants i.e. Onyx Black and Pearl White exclusively on Flipkart.

According to the latest Internation Data Corporation (IDC) report for Q2 2015, Lenovo has appeared as the leading 4G smartphone brand in India with 30% market share and is dignified to further extend its range in the product portfolio through its latest offering.

The Lenovo A2010 features an (11.43cm) 4.5-inch FWVGA Capacitive Touchscreen with the screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.0GHz MediaTek MT6735m 64-bit Quad Core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 450MHz Mali T720-MP1 GPU.

The A2010 smartphone is equipped with a 5MP fixed-focus (FF) rear camera with LED flash support and a 2MP FF front-facing camera for video calling. The handset also offers 8GB oh built-in storage space, which can be further expanded using microSD card up to 32GB.

Out-of-the-box, Lenovo A2010 runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device is fueled by a typical 2,050 mAh Li-Po replaceable battery, which company touts to deliver 11.5 days (4G) standby time and 8.5 hours (4G) talk time.

In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM Lenovo A2010 supports both4G LTE bands available in India – FDD 1800GHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300GHz (Band 40) along with 3G HSPA+, EDGE. GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm Audio Jack port.

The Lenovo A2010 will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart at a price point of Rs. 4,990. Registrations on Flipkart has already opened, and the black color variant will go on sale from September 3rd, 2015 at 3 pm.
