Intex FitRist Cardio smartband released at INR 1499: specs and features

Intex has just introduced its new smart band called the FitRist Cardio. This successor to the FitRist has a heart rate sensor that helps the fitness lovers. Priced at INR 1499, the band is available on Amazon. It is available in black color and the smart band is water resistant as well.

Apart from tracking heartbeat and steps, it also tracks the calories burnt. Users can also keep a track of time and date of activities. It also gives SMS notifications. WhatsApp and Facebook notifications are also received. It also displays incoming call notifications. If an android device is connected to the band, then it will show incoming call notification with caller id. For iOS users, it shows only the notification with the number.

Apart from all this, the FitRist cardio helps the users to track their sleeping patterns. Setting alarms and reminders are just an add on. Another feature for the fitness lovers is that it can also allow controlling the music playlist. Users can also use the band to control their smartphone camera. The motion sensor allows the user to bring the FitRist to life from sleep mode with just a twisting action. The anti-lost feature allows the band to be always connected to the smartphone in a 10m range.

The band features a 2.18cm OLED display. It runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat or iOS 7.0 with 32 KB of RAM and 256 KB of storage. The 80 mAh battery ensures a week long lasting.

In its price range, the FitRist is probably the best, It competes with the likes of Fasttrack Reflex and Mi Band 2 that are priced roughly at INR 2,000.
