Samsung has launched a new range of Notebook 9 Series with 15-inch and 13.3-inch ultra-slim bezel display variants in Light Titan color at CES 2017. Additionally, Samsung also unveiled an EXT model of Notebook 9 in the 15-inch variant, which will be available only in the US markets.
Manufactured in a sleek and light design, the Samsung Notebook 9 provides enhanced connectivity, a premium display including unique security features. During the launch event, Samsung disclosed that the Notebook 9 series offers a blend of weightlessness, performance, and portability on the go.
Samsung Notebook 9 features an ultra-slim bezel
The main highlight of Samsung Notebook 9 13.3-inch and 15-inch is that it offers an ultra-slim bezel and near edge-to-edge display. Moreover, the display reclines 180-degrees, which enable you to easily share presentations and other content with your friends. According to Samsung, this unique design approach will create ground-breaking effects among the customers.
Samsung Notebook 9 specifications
On the specifications front, the Samsung Notebook 9 features a 15-inch FHD display with 250nit brightness and 178-degree viewing angle. While the EXT model is equipped with Intel Core i7 7500U processor, the 15-inch model offers an unknown 7th gen Core i7 processor. However, the 13.3-inch display model will be available in both Core i5 and Core i7 processor variants.
Samsung Notebook 9 15-inch EXT model is integrated with a dedicated NVIDIA 940MX Graphics Card. However, the 15-inch and 13.3-inch models will not offer a dedicated graphics processor. Hence, you need not have to expect a graphics card with Notebook 9 in India. Samsung has loaded Windows 10 Home into all the three variants of Notebook 9.
The EXT model features 16GB RAM alongside 256GB internal storage. However, the other two models will offer up to 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD internal storage. In addition to USB 3.0, the Samsung Notebook 9 EXT model features a USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port with support for 4K display.
As of this writing, we don’t have any information about the pricing and availability of Samsung Notebook 9. We expect the laptop to launch in the US market followed by India. You can expect the launch of Notebook 9 in India by the end of Q2 2017.
Notebook 9 provides shock and thermal protection
Equipped with a sleek single shell structure and Micro Arc Oxidation (MAO) Rigidity technology, the newly launched Notebook 9 provides adequate shock and thermal protection features. The new laptops are powered by the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i7/i5 Processors. Moreover, with adaptive fast charge technology, you will be able to fully charge the laptop within 80 minutes. The integrated fingerprint sensor provides support for Windows Hello.
The real beauty of Notebook 9 series is the addition of a Full HD display in all three variants. When other competitors trim the display quality in low display laptops, Samsung has provided the same display in all the models.
