Canon launches new range of Pixma G-series Ink Tank printers

Canon has announced its newest range of Pixma G Series Ink Tank printers in India. The digital imaging company has launched the Pixma GM2070 priced at INR 14,299, Pixma G5070 for INR 17,399, along with the Pixma G6070 for INR 21,499. According to Canon, these printers are designed to reduce printing cost by almost 90 percent, when compared to mono laser printers.

The Pixma G6070 is a multi-function printer giving users the ability to scan and copy. It can print, scan, as well as copy, and the compnay claims it can print up to 8300/7700 pagets (B&W/Colour). Besides, it can load up to 350 sheets of paper. It also supports wireless and mobile printing.

The Pixma G5070 and Pixma GM2070 are single funtion printers. They can only print and do not come with scanning and copying capabilities. Both support wirless and mobile printing. The Pixma G5070 can print up to 8300/7700 pages (B&W), colour), while the Pixma GM2070 can print up to 8300 pages (B&W). The GM2070 also comes with an option for colour printing.
