The Japanese audio tech brand Audio Technica has launched a series of headphones and earphones in India today. As company also announced their collaboration with the country’s a leading distributor of renowned consumer and professional audio and video brands, KEI Hi-Fi. The KEI Hi-Fi will distribute the entire range of consumer wired and wireless headphones, including the award-winning QuietPoint headphones, the new Hi-Res Audio headphones
as well as the critically acclaimed open and closed back audiophile headphones.
ATH-ADX5000 audiophile headphone
The ATH-ADX5000 audiophile headphone feature newly developed core mount technology which optimises the position of the driver within the housing. It also improves airflow efficiency that enhances the transparency of the mid to high frequencies. Moreover, the headphone is packed with 58mm integrated driver units, and tungsten-coated diaphragms which encased in honeycomb punched design.
The diaphragm voice coil, baffle, and the magnet is encased in the same unit to minimise vibrations and sound distortion. The stunning honeycomb hit design offers reduce side ventilation, contributes to eliminating any air pressure loss to maintain balanced fidelity of input sounds. The ATH-ADX5000 also packed with a 6N-OFC oxygen-free copper cable with a machined stainless steel 6.3mm plug reduces unwanted resonance for authentic sound reproduction.
Moreover, the headphone offers Maximum Input Power of 1,000 mW and 100 dB/mW of sensitivity. The headphone impedance is 420gram, and it weighs around 270gram.
Audio Technica ATH-ANC40BT Bluetooth in-ear phone
The ATH-ANC40BT Bluetooth in-ear headphones offer 90% noise-cancellation with outstanding sound quality and seamless smartphone connectivity. The ATH-ANC40BT is equipped with an aptX sound-improvement technology which provides best audio performance over the Bluetooth transmission.
The earphone also packed with 13.5 mm drivers to deliver clear and dynamic sound with deep bass. It can be connected to two sources simultaneously and rechargeable via

The Audio-Technica ATH-ADX5000 will be available in December 2017, While the QuietPoint range of ANC headphones will be available in a price bracket of INR 6,990 to INR 16,990 and will be available in India starting October 2017.
Moreover, the ATH-AR3BT is priced at INR 13,990 and will be available in October 2017. Whereas, the ATH-MSR7SE model will be available in very limited quantities in India by
November 2017.
