Taiwanese manufacturer, ASUS has announced the launch of its new tablet, the Asus Zenpad C 7.0, in India. The tablet is priced at Rs 7,999, and it will be available starting today on Snapdeal. The tablet will be available in two colors, White and Obsidian Black.
The tablet itself appears to be quite similar to the company’s other ZenPad C 7.0 offering this year, except for the price point, which is priced RS. 1,000 below the other model already available on Flipkart. This model is also running a MediaTek CPU over the Intel Atom CPU sported by the other model.

The ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 boasts a 7″ IPS WSVGA display running a resolution of 1024 x 600 and a 170 PPI pixel density. It supports up to 10 finger multi-touch along with their Zen Motion touch gesture feature. The device comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT8382 ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core SoC running at 1.3 GHz. There is also 2 GB RAM backing it up. The tablet is running Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped in Asus’ ZenUI 2.0.
The tablet comes with 8 GB internal storage, which is expandable via the included microSD card slot with support for up to 64 GB cards. Asus will also off free 5 GB of storage in their Asus Webstorage cloud storage service for life as well as an additional 11 GB for the first year of activation on your device.
As for the camera, there is a 5 MP rear camera with auto-focus support, along with a front-facing VGA snapper running at 0.3 MP for video calls and selfies. There is no flash.
The tablet has built-in GPS capabilities. It also has a standard 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth support. It is a dual-SIM model, supporting 2G and 3G connectivity.
ASUS ZenPad C 7.0 has a 3,450 mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims will net 8.5 hours of battery life or 700 hours of standby.
