New Delhi: ASUS has expanded its entry-level gaming laptop portfolio with the launch of ASUS R510JX gaming laptop today. Priced at Rs. 69,990, the R510JX comes with the red and black theme and runs on the latest 64-bit Windows 10 operating system.
“Gaming is on the rise among the Indian consumers and with R510, even the entry-level gaming enthusiasts will get an opportunity to test their skills on the high-end games,” said Peter Chang – Regional Head of South Asia and Managing Director for ASUS India.
The ASUS R510JX boasts a 15.6-inch Full HD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display of this gaming notebook uses anti glare technology, which is resistant to fingerprints and smudges.
The R510JX is powered by a 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4720HQ Quad-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz (6MB Cache, up to 3.6GHz) and a 2GB NVidia GTX 950M graphics card, which is based on NVidia’s latest Maxwell architecture.
The NVidia HTX 950M features include NVidia Battery Boost and NVidia Optimus Technology, NVidia GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience and GameStream.
The company claims that ASUS R510JX can handle modern high-end games and multimedia with ease.
The laptop comes with 4GB of RAM and a 2.5-inch SATA 1TB HDD. On the connectivity front, ASUS R510JX support 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and offers 1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x RJ45 LAN Jack, 1 x VGA port, 1 x HDMI, 1 x Headphone-out and Audio-in Combo jack.
In spite of its slim architecture, the ASUS R510JX houses a large touchpad with inbuilt multi-point Smart Gesture input, a reinforced all-in-one one chiclet keyboard and IceCool technology that keeps the palm rests cool.
