Acer unveils 4G LTE supported Liquid Z410 smartphone at CES 2015

Acer unveiled its latest smartphone, the Liquid Z410, and announced its launch in the European, Middle-East and African markets in the Consumer Electronics Showcase 2015. Acer said that the device will be available in Africa, Middle East and Europe by the start of the next month. The company has set a launch price of 129 Euro on the device, which roughly approximates to Rs. 9,767.

Acer has launched the smartphone as a budget phone, highlighting its 4G LTE connectivity support. It features a 64-bit quad-core processor, although the company did not specify the chipset included. The 4.5-inch screen smartphone has a qHD display of resolution 540X960 pixels with a pixel density of 245ppi.

The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and offers a battery support of 400 hours on standby. Acer specified that the battery is capable of providing up to 5.5 hours of talk time.

The other technical specifications of the Liquid Z410 include a 2MP front-facing camera in addition to a 5MP rear camera. The front camera supports an 80-degree wide-angle lens. Additionally, it is incorporated with a front-facing speaker that is powered by DTS Studio Sound.

Acer chose to provide only limited details about the specification of its new launch and declined to state the storage details, including RAM. It also did not comment on the battery capacity of the smartphone.

The company has added some unique features to the design in the form a new button, named AcerRAPID. The button can be found just below the camera, supporting a textile pattern. The button provides one-touch access to a series of customizable actions.

Acer emphasized the easy use of the device saying that it is easily operable with either hand. This adds the special advantages of flexibility, as well as speed to the phone, along with the scope of personalization of the device, the company said.
