Zopo Color F1 with 2.5D curved display and Android 6.0 launched in India

Zopo has just added a new smartphone to its Color series called Zopo Color F1 with a multifunctional fingerprint scanner and is priced at Rs. 8,890. Made of metal, the frame of the mobile phone gives it a classic iPhoneish (not the current one) look or the OnePlus X. The fingerprint scanner also allows the user to control the camera.

Zopo Color F1 Specifications

The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved display. Powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, it has a 1GB RAM and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0. Other specs of the phone include an 8MP primary camera with LED flash, a 2MP secondary camera, a 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB. Housing a 2300mAh battery, it promises to last a day.

The device is also capable of Multi-Account application feature that allows apps like WhatsApp and other social media to have multiple accounts. This means that the user can have both personal and work accounts logged in at the same time.
Following are the specs:

The Barcode/QR scanner scans barcodes and QR codes and gives out relevant information. The floating video widget in Color F1 puts forward the video screen as an overlay so that it can be moved anywhere on the screen while working on other apps. Unlike its other Chinese counterparts like OnePlus and Xiaomi, Zopo has failed to make a mark in India.

Established in 2008, by Kevin Xu, the current CEO, it was the first company in China and India to sell Linux Sailfish OS. Last year, the company released a special edition Android phone called the Speed 7 GP dedicated to Jorge Lorenzo the MotoGP world champion, after signing him as a brand ambassador.

Apart from the Color Series and the Speed, the company has another lineup called Flash series. The Flash series consists of Zopo’s mid-budget smartphones that target an urban demographic.
