New Delhi – Yu Televentures, a Micromax subsidiary has announced that their Yu Yureka version of the smartphone will be available for buying without any registration in India on May 6 and 7. The buyers can buy the Yureka smartphone from the exclusive online retail partner of the company, Amazon India.
The announcement was made on the Twitter and Facebook handles and says that there are no limits to buy and no registrations needed to buy Yu Yureka on coming Wednesday and Thursday.
The sale will begin at 10 am. It is for the first time that the company has come up with an open sale and hence it is being looked upon as an effort to clear out the earlier smartphone stocks of the company. It is worth noting that the open sale is being announced just ahead of the launch of its new smartphone-Yu Yuphoria on May 12.
No Registration Required
The announcement of the open sale means the buyer will not have to register prior to buying the Yureka smartphone. However, the offer is available only on the Yu Yureka version. Although the numbers of units that are available on offer have not been disclosed, the availability will be purely on a first come first purchase basis.
The Yu Televenturs recently in the month of April came out with the Lollipop-based Android 5.0 update for its Yureka smartphone. The price of Yu Yureka is INR 8,999, and it comes with some of the most impressive specifications. The special features include dual SIM, Cat 4 4G LTE connectivity, 5.5-inch HD (720x1280pixels) IPS display along with Gorilla Glass 3 and a 64-bit 1.5Hz Octa-core.
It runs on Cyanogen OS 11 using the Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and has a capacity of 2GB RAM. The features also include an Adreno 405 GPU, Snapdragon 615 SoC (MSM8939), a 13-megapixel Sony Exmor CMOS sensor rear camera having a flash and 2.2 apertures. A 16GB inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card, a 2500mAh Li-Po battery and a front-facing 5-megapixel fixed-focus camera makes Yu Yureka smartphone a must buy product.
