Xolo launched Era 4G with Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) technology at Rs 4,777. Available exclusively on Snapdeal, Xolo Era 4G will be available for purchase via flash sale from 10 AM on February 26 for users who have registered on the official product page.

Announcing the launch of Era 4G, an official spokesperson of Xolo said that the addition of 4G VoLTE ensures enhanced call quality. The company also disclosed that they have integrated 4G VoLTE technology keeping in mind the customer’s increasing inclination towards hassle-free connectivity.

Xolo Era 4G has 5″ HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass support, 1.5 GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB) in addition to a 2500mAh removable battery. As you can see, Xolo has compromised memory part with the only 1GB, with at least 2GB being the latest trend.

While Era 4G comes with Android Lollipop v5.1, Xolo has promised customers of an assured update to Android Marshmallow v6.0 in the future to enable them to enjoy latest features and enhancements.

Commenting further on the launch, Xolo disclosed that customers purchase smartphones by trusting the brand and it is their endeavour to offer them with a device which is future friendly and not a handset which will turn into a paperweight after 4 or 5 years.

Interestingly, Era 4G offers support for a wide range of regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.

Coming to camera specs, Era 4G boasts a 5MP primary camera and 2MP front-facing camera. Moreover, you will be able to view content in a 178-degree viewing angle without losing clarity.

To recall, more than 150000 units of Xolo Era smartphone model were sold on Snapdeal in 2015 and the latest Era 4G with 4G VoLTE technology offers yet another smart choice for consumers who would like to purchase smartphones under 5K range.
