XOLO, today, has launched its another budget smartphone named BLACK 1X via an online press conference held on Twitter. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available to buy on Snapdeal via flash sale starting 6th November.

“With our online sub-brand – BLACK, we aim to deliver a fresh design approach with future-ready technology that is backed by full potential of the hardware, complemented with our proprietary customized software platform – HIVE. Taking this philosophy forward, new BLACK 1X is designed to cater to the growing online, digitally at an honest price,” said Sunil Raina – Business Head – XOLO.


Featuring a 5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080p) One Cell IPS display, the XOLO BLACK 1X is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-core processor with 64-bit Cortex A53 CPU paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and ARM Mali-T720 MP3 GPU.

The handset offers 32GB of internal storage space, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The XOLO BLACK 1X runs on HIVE Atlas, which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.


On the camera front, the XOLO BLACK 1X sports a 13MP rear snapper with PDAF and LED flash support. Also, there’s a 5MP front-facing camera with front flash. The primary camera is capable of recording 1080p FHD videos.

Connectivity-wise, the Hybrid dual-SIM XOLO BLACK 1X comes with 4G LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Micro-USB 2.0, OTG support and a 3.5mm headset jack port. The device is fueled by a 2,400 mAh Li-polymer battery.
