Xiaomi reportedly to launch a new sub-brand this month; image of the first smartphone leaks

Xiaomi is releasing its smartphones under the Mi and Redmi sub-brands. And  rumor that is been going around claims that Xiaomi is planning to launch a new brand to release its latest smartphones in this month. Well, the name of the new sub-brand Xiaomi is working on hasn’t been leaked yet, but it looks like Xiaomi is aiming to take on Oppo and Vivo by launching camera-centric smartphones. The company might be hiring a top celebrity as its ambassador for the new brand.

The picture of the smartphone which Xiaomi is going to release under this new brand has been leaked earlier today. The image reveals the rear end of the smartphone with a dual camera setup and dual LED flash on the left. The design looks much similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, only the flash is not round and located on the left side of the dual camera setup. The antennae lines can also be seen running across just like in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The smartphones that are going to be release under the new sub-brand are likely going to be offline exclusive. Xiaomi is going to adapt the Oppo and Vivo strategy to capture the offline market as well and will soon open Mi Homes in all countries where Xiaomi is foraying its business. Xiaomi is also going to launch a new smartphone tomorrow which we presume is the Mi 6 Plus with Snapdragon 800 series processor and a 4000 mAh large battery.

Xiaomi will be launching a new smartphone tomorrow i.e., 12th July, which we presume is the Mi 6 Plus with Snapdragon 800 series processor and a large 4000 mAh battery. Stay tuned for more details on the same.
