The Chinese smartphone giant – Xiaomi has finally launched the most anticipated device in Indian market – Xiaomi Mi Pad. Unlike other devices from the Xiaomi, consumers don’t need to register on Flipkart to purchase the slate. Presently, available model in India features 16GB built-in storage along with microSD card slot and is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 12,999.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad is the first tablet from the world’s third largest smartphone manufacturer, and it could soon get a new sibling.
In terms of specs, the Xiaomi Mi Pad sports a 7.9-inch IPS display with screen resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. The display is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top. The tablet is powered by a powerful NVIDIA Tegra K1 Quad-core ARM Cortex A15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz and Kelper GPU. Also, it has 2GB DDR3 RAM for better performance.
The Mi Pad offers 16GB of internal storage space to the users, which can be later expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device sports an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front-facing camera.
