Alleged leaked image of the Xiaomi Mi 6X case have surfaced on the web, which suggests that the handset will likely come with a vertically aligned dual-lens camera setup. The leak falls in line with earlier reports that also indicated that the Mi 6X might feature vertically arranged dual-lens cameras, much like the one found on the iPhone X.
In addition, the cameras appeared to protrude on the phone’s back, which also happens to look similar to the camera bump of the iPhone X.
The alleged Mi 6X case was posted on Weibo which shows vertical camera cut-outs at the top left corner, along with a cut-out for the fingerprint sensor right in the centre and slightly below cut-outs for the vertical cameras.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil several products at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) in Barcelona, and one of them could be the flagship – the Mi 6X. The handset is rumoured to come with a 5.7-inch near borderless display having an aspect ratio of 18:9.
Rumour also has it that the handset might be powered by Xiaomi’s in-house Surge S2 chipset, built using the 16nm manufacturing process. That said, not much information is available about other hardware components, neither anything on pricing or availability.
No to mention, Xiaomi is also rumoured to reveal something on the highly anticipated Redmi Note 5 in the coming days. Past leaks suggest the successor to the Redmi Note 4 will feature much-thinner bezels, as well as a dual-lens camera setup. With MWC 2018 approaching, we are likely to hear more about these handsets in the coming days. Until then, keep checking this space for the latest updates.
